What's Your Why?
Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in everything that we're doing & forget the one whose made it all possible. This camera & microphone has introduced me to a side of life a kid from Raleigh never could have imagined. The lives that this camera has impacted is beyond anything that I can grasp. The places God has allowed me to travel & the people He has allowed me to meet with this camera is immeasurable. I've learned so much about myself through this camera & microphone. The "media" has a bad rep due to the negative stories that gets portrayed out in the press. While a lot of peoples goal in this profession is to make it to the top & live comfortable, I've gained a different type of appreciation. Every time I pick up a camera, I ask myself how can use this camera to impact someone's life in a positive light. While I once fell in love with this business due to the limelight, I could now care less abt being in front of the camera, I'm in love with this business because of the servantry that it provides. You don't have to be at the top to give back to the less fortunate. If I can make a difference in one persons life a day, you can impact 365 lives a year. Thank you God for everything. I feel like God is showing Himself through my talents to help make a difference in this world. I literally pick up this camera and microphone everyday to help other people out. Im not in the media business, I'm in the servantry business, a camera and microphone just so happens to be the method I use to do so. Every time I make a video, I make it to change lives.
I think the best addition "Facebook Business" has added is the "Number of views" count. After some time, Facebook sends you a update that shows how many "3 second views" aka how many people watched your video for 3 seconds or less. This is a big statistic for me because even though people may not like my content, they gave me 3 seconds of their time. For 3 seconds, they weren't thinking of whatever stress he or she was going thru. Whether you like what I post or not, those 3 seconds mean a lot to me. Views mean more than likes. I thank everyone who has been a fan of my work, I appreciate all of the love. It's surreal sometimes because I took a leap on faith & even though I feel like giving up sometimes, I turn the camera on you & see how I can use your life to impact someone else's life. Don't get caught up in the negative media & all the money that is involved in that. While it may be informing, that's only a small percentage of what's going on in this world.
